Mansory's Porsche 911 Is One Crazy Car, It's Got 900 Horsepower!

Mansory won't do easy on the eye' to please anybody. They will go for 'mind-blowing' instead. And that would not necessarily be in a positive way. Same story with this Porsche 911 Turbo S that drove out of the tuner's shop.

If this car has ever been one to fly under the radar when stock, that is long gone. It now comes under a different name that helps it erase the past. And we’re not gonna take you through all the details just for the sake of keeping the best for last. So let's sart with what matters the most.

The model is now called the P9LM EVO 900, where 900 stands for – you guessed it – horsepower. It's actually metric horsepower, as they do it over in Europe, which would be 888 horsepower out of the 3.8-liter flat-six, plus 774 lb-ft (1,050 Nm) of torque. That engine, when stock, makes 641 horsepower (650 PS) and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) in the 911 Turbo S.

How did Mansory get there? It was an ECU software tweak, plus a pair of larger VTG turbochargers, a water-cooled intercooler, and a sports air filter. But with all the tweaks, the 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 kph) run time remained the same, and so did the 211 mph (340 kph) top speed.

The car got an extreme bodykit that brings along as much forged carbon fiber as you could imagine. The two-tone paint finish displays a gradient pattern going from black to green.

There is a restyled bumper with larger air intakes, a new front splitter extended with aerodynamic fins on the sides, and dynamic lines showed up on the hood made entirely of, of course, carbon fiber.

Overstyled fenders give it an intimidating stance. But it is the rear that steals the show. That is where Mansory dropped so much carbon fiber that almost made it unrecognizable. Air inlets, fins, spoiler, massive double-story wing, triple exhaust pipes, and aggressive diffuser. You name, this Porsche's got it! And all these are perfectly functional, not just show-stoppers, Mansory claims.

There is also the option of a bodykit that ditches the fender extensions and still allows the car to fit just about any narrow street.

The Porsche now runs on ten-spoke one-piece forged wheels in 21 inches at the front and 22 at the back, shod in performance tires of 255/35 ZR21 at the front and 335/25 ZR22 at the rear. No mods on the brakes the car drove out of the factory with.

As for the cabin of the 911, that's where the Mansory experts went out of their way again. Exposed carbon fiber, light green and white leather cover just about everything on board. The tuning house came up with a new steering wheel with integrated shift lights and customized just about everything, floor mats included.

Any Porsche 911 Turbo and Turbo S can be converted into the P9LM EVO 900. The Convertible is up next. Mansory has yet to reveal pricing.

Only 10 such Porsche 911s will see the light of day. “Much more to come,” Mansory says on Instagram. And we cantt wait to see what it is.
