Mircea Mester from Automarket.ro has shared images from the Global Media drive event of the 2018 Dacia Duster.

The new Duster will go on sale in early 2018. Pricing related information will be revealed at the time of its launch.

Dacia unveiled the new generation Duster earlier this year in August. In the following month, the SUV made its public debut at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. Designers have adopted an evolutionary approach when it comes to the exterior styling of the Duster. It is quite similar to the current model.

The headlamps get an L-shape LED signature split into three sections. New Duster's tail lamps feature Dacia's lighting signature – four red squares. The car is shod with 17-inch two-tone alloys.

Dacia says the windscreen has been moved forward by 100 mm and is more steeply raked freeing up more space in the cabin. A MediaNav Evolution AVN touchscreen sits at the centre of the dashboard.

The 2018 Dacia Duster is 4.34 m long, 1.80 m wide and has a ground clearance of 210 mm. It boasts approach and departure angles of 30-degrees and 33-degrees respectively for the 4WD version with a breakover angle of 21-degrees.

Dacia is offering the two petrol and two diesel variant choices. 2018 Dacia Duster buyers can choose from either the SCe 115 (2WD and 4WD versions) engine with a manual gearbox or a TCe 125 (2WD and 4WD versions) also with a manual gearbox. 2018 Dacia Duster diesel is available with the dCi 90 (2WD version) and dCi 110 (2WD and 4WD versions) engines. A manual gearbox standard. However, the dCi 110 engine (2WD version) can be had equipped with EDC (Efficient Dual Clutch) automatic transmission. An LPG version of the SCe 115 unit is also optionally available.

Earlier this month, the Renault badged version of the Duster was unveiled.
